In late 2008, we scheduled a meeting with Browning to discuss special make up opportunities. We were given the task of developing one or two "exclusive" Buckmark pistols. After kicking around different finishes, barrel configurations, and grips, it hit us that we should do a threaded barrel model of the standard Buckmark Camper. After getting approval from Browning, we proceeded to work with companies like Gemtech to obtain the correct dimensions and specifications for the threads. The result is one of our most successful 22 LR pistol exclusive firearms. With the popularity of suppressors growing across the country, this gun is the ideal host pistol to the numerous rimfire suppressors that fit the 1/2X28 thread pattern.
