The success of the Walther P22 line of 22LR semi-automatic pistols has been staggering. With its small dimensions, lightweight, and ease of mounting a suppressor, the Walther P22 continues to sell out quickly regardless of the configuration. In 2008, the pink gun trend was in full swing and we decided to do a P22 in pink since many of our dealers mentioned that they were popular with female customers. After looking at solid pink colors, we tried a pink carbon fiber dip and it looked much better. The ladies in our office agreed and voted to go with the pink carbon fiber. The Walther P22 Pink Carbon Fiber pistols have been one of our most popular exclusive offerings and are still going strong.
*In 2011, Walther changed the P22 to the P22Q. Starting in late 2011, our pink carbon fiber models made the change as well.
*In 2013, S&W ceased being the importer of Walther products and now Walther USA is the source of all Walther pistols. The stock numbers and UPC codes changed, but the guns remain the same.
