From the first touch you’ll feel perfect balance coupled with features that you typically don’t find at this price point.

Barrett is clearly a household name in the rifle world, most notably for the famous 82A1 50 BMG. However, their rifle line has expanded over time to include Modern Sporting Rifles (MSR’s), and first class hunting rifles. Enter the Lipsey’s Exclusive Barrett Fieldcraft chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Barrett Fieldcraft
Our Barrett Fieldcraft exclusive features a 24″ #2 contour barrel weighing in at only 5.6 lbs.

It’s always a challenge to come up with a way to enhance or reconfigure a high quality firearm. Luckily, Barrett was willing to let us take a shot so we came up with a nice variation on a proven platform. Each barrel is hand-laid into the carbon fiber stock while sporting a Timney trigger, spiral fluted bolt and blind magazine. Given such high end attributes, we decided to have some fun with not only lengthening the barrel, but also increasing the barrel contour.

Adding the Lipsey’s twist and similar to Barrett’s long action rifles, we went with a 24″ #2 contoured barrel as opposed to the standard 21″ zero contour. This gives the rifle a slight bump in velocity and exceptional balance without compromising weight. At only 5.6 lbs, the felt recoil of the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge pairs up proportionately to make it a smooth shooter.

Timney Trigger
The Lipsey’s Exclusive Barrett Fieldcraft comes standard with a super-crisp Timney trigger.

Keep a few bucks in your pocket and avoid the potentially long wait for a full custom setup. If you’re after a super lightweight sharp shooting 6.5 Creedmoor with all of the attributes of a custom rifle, look no further than the Lipsey’s Exclusive Barrett Fieldcraft.
